What do I get for my money

At The Pagesmith we believe in giving our clients value for their money. We are not, however, web discounters, package pushers or price-matchers.

Our hourly rate is based, to a large extent, on industry standards, but it also represents our true cost of maintaining the service, paying wages and superannuation, research and development and security in knowing that we'll be here when you need us.

It might be possible for web-developers to offer lower-priced service if they use off-shore web-monkeys, but such discounts come 'at a price'.

At The Pagesmith you can speak to our web-developer at most times during business hours. If we can't answer your enquiry right away, a return call the same business day is usual. We speak two languages - yours and 'geek' so if there's a situation we need help with, we have a whole community of like-minded web-heads to call on for help.

We maintain licensed copies of the web-related software and operating systems, as I'm sure you do for your field of business. We continually monitor trends in web-development, browser improvements and operating system upgrades and undocumented 'features'.

We test your website in a variety of conditions, using different web-browsers operating under all the current platforms.

We've been in business since 1989. We work with a collection of professionals, full-time and sub-contract, who will work toward ensuring your end-product is as good as we can get it. If we hit a barrier, we'll do our best to circumnavigate it.

If you're tempted to go for a cheaper price, please be comfortable in knowing that you'll probably get what you pay for.
